Construction Details

In CoolCalc Manual J you enter construction details for the home first and then create dimensional data. CoolCalc Manual J uses construction feature "groups" so you do not have to re-enter construction details repetitively. When entering dimensional data you will be able to associate specific components of the home to the construction feature groups you created up front.

CoolCalc uses various databases, surveys and historical building codes to suggest default construction features for a home based on location and code year. Please note that the contractor remains responsible for verification of all inputs and must review all of the default selections for accuracy.
